I recently stayed with my family at the Bulls Head for a little getaway, and we had a pleasant experience. Right from the start, the breakfast was a highlight, with a hearty full English that kept us fueled for the day. It included toast, jams, cereals, and freshly squeezed orange juice, served with a friendly smile. A special nod goes to Shane at the bar, whose warm hospitality made our evenings relaxing by the log fire. The management is new, and while the place is still undergoing some updates, our room was cosy and comfortable, which suited our needs just fine. We even managed to squeeze in a visit to the Windermere Ferry with the kids, which was an enjoyable little adventure. Plus, a quick round at the Windermere Golf Club added to our family fun. The Bulls Head offered a family-friendly atmosphere that made our stay easy and enjoyable. We felt looked after by the staff, particularly Sally, who was accommodating in letting us stay in our room while we awaited our hire car. Definitely a place to consider for your family travels.
